Student Details, Subject Marks, Grade and Result Status
The result identifies the student by name, father’s name, roll number, group and institution. It records subject results, grade or GPA and notifications such as absent, result later or unfair-means case.
Online Result, Original DMC and Duplicate Result Card
The online page is provisional. The original Detailed Marks Certificate normally reaches regular candidates through school; private candidates follow board instructions. A lost DMC can be replaced through the prescribed form, identity documents and fee.
Passing Marks and Grading System for 2026
Subject-Wise Passing Criteria
The 2026 Grade 9 result follows the new 40 percent passing threshold. A student must reach the required standard in each subject. A strong overall total does not cancel an unsatisfactory result in one paper. This is different from the 33 percent threshold used in the 2025 gazette.
Theory and Practical Passing Requirements
For subjects with theory and practical components, follow the separate component rules rather than applying 40 percent only to the combined total. Check any unsatisfactory component before taking action.

Class 9 Marks in the Final Matric Result
The revised SSC scheme carries 1,200 marks across Classes 9 and 10. Grade 9 allocation varies by group and subject combination, so “550 marks for every student” is no longer accurate for 2026. The final SSC record combines both parts.

Science recorded 88,122 passes from 165,237 candidates, about 53.33 percent. General or Humanities recorded 17,503 passes from 39,791, about 43.99 percent.
Girls and Boys Result Comparison
Girls passed at 60.48 percent, with 61,945 passes from 102,419 appearances. Boys recorded 42.65 percent, with 43,824 passes from 102,763.
Government Institutes, Private Institutes and Private Candidates
Government-school regular candidates passed at 46.66 percent. Private-school regular candidates reached 71.19 percent, while private candidates recorded 35.52 percent. The categories are separate and should not be combined as one “private” rate.
The raw totals explain the difference: government schools recorded 55,658 passes from 119,273 appearances, while private schools recorded 39,108 from 54,933. Private candidates, who did not appear as regular students of an affiliated institution, recorded 11,003 passes from 30,976 appearances. Comparing private schools with private candidates as if they were the same group produces a misleading result.
Why Websites Show Different Faisalabad Pass Percentages
Some pages quote 135,116 candidates and 49.41 percent. That dataset does not match the gazette’s board-wide total. Use 205,182 appeared and 51.55 percent passed for the official headline comparison.
