Sargodha Board 9th Class Result Card Explained

Check the result for spelling, missing subjects and an incorrect status before using it for later board services.

Subject Marks, Total Score, Grade and Result Status

The record identifies the candidate, session, subjects, marks and status. A grade or GPA may also appear. Absent, result later and withheld are specific statuses, not automatic failed results.

Online Result, Original DMC and Duplicate Result Card

The web result is immediate information. The Detailed Marks Certificate, including a verified digital version where activated, is the formal record. Regular candidates usually receive it through their institution. For a lost card, use the official duplicate service and pay the amount on the generated challan.

Passing Marks and Grading System for 2026

The IBCC grading framework begins with Grades 9 and 11 in 2026. It sets a 40 percent threshold and ten grade bands. Older pages quoting 33 percent do not reflect this 2026 framework.

Subject-Wise Passing Criteria

A candidate must pass each subject. A high overall total cannot cancel an unsuccessful compulsory or elective subject. This means 40 out of 100 or 30 out of 75.

Theory and Practical Passing Requirements

Where theory and practical components are treated separately, each relevant component must meet board rules. Read the subject status instead of relying only on the grand percentage.

Grade Bands and GPA Status

PercentageGrade
96 to 100A++
91 to 95A+
86 to 90A
81 to 85B++
76 to 80B+
71 to 75B
61 to 70C+
51 to 60C
40 to 50D
Below 40U

The framework connects grades with GPA values. The search page and final DMC may use different layouts, so treat the DMC as final.

Class 9 Marks in the Final Matric Result

SSC covers Grades 9 and 10 and carries 1,200 marks under the revised Punjab scheme. Part I contributes to the final matric record. Stronger Class 10 marks can improve the combined score, but every unsuccessful subject must still be cleared.

BISE Sargodha 9th Class Result Statistics 2025

The 2025 result figures are a useful benchmark, not a prediction of any student’s 2026 result.

Candidates Appeared, Passed and Unsuccessful

In 2025, 112,492 candidates appeared and 52,166 passed. The 46.37 percent pass rate left 60,326 candidates unsuccessful or carrying another status.

Science and Humanities Group Performance

Science recorded 43,778 passes from 92,816 candidates, or 47.17 percent. Humanities recorded 8,304 passes from 19,591 candidates, or 42.39 percent. Science enrolment was much larger, but its pass advantage was modest.

Girls and Boys Result Comparison

Girls recorded 29,634 passes from 52,482 appearances, or 56.47 percent. Boys recorded 22,532 from 60,010, or 37.55 percent. The gap was almost 19 points.

Government and Private Institution Results

Government institutions passed 29,185 of 69,918 candidates, or 41.74 percent. Non government institutions passed 15,693 of 23,522, or 66.72 percent. Separately, private candidates recorded 7,288 passes from 19,052 appearances. A private candidate is not the same category as a private institution student.

District-Wise Performance

Board press release reporting placed Sargodha ahead of Khushab, Mianwali and Bhakkar, with reported rates of 49.37, 44.84, 42.51 and 40.46 percent. Some reposted district counts do not reconcile with the gazette total, so they should not be recombined.

BISE Sargodha 9th Class Position Holders 2026

The merit announcement is scheduled for 1 September 2026 at 4:00 PM. Names or highest marks published before it are unverified.

Highest Marks and Official Merit List

Only a position declared by BISE Sargodha is a board position. School rankings and district comparisons are different. Add names only after the official release.

Verify Position Holders’ Names, Marks and Schools | پوزیشن ہولڈرز کے نام، نمبر اور سکول کی تصدیق کریں

Compare names, marks, schools and shared positions with the board notice. Avoid cropped images without a board reference.

فہرست سرکاری نوٹس سے ملائیں۔ طالب علم کا نام، نمبر، سکول اور مشترکہ پوزیشن کی صورت میں تمام نام چیک کریں۔

Paper Rechecking and Second Annual Examination

Rechecking addresses possible checking errors. Reappearing is the examination route for an unsuccessful subject.

Apply for Paper Rechecking | پیپر ری چیکنگ کے لیے درخواست دیں

Open the official matric rechecking portal, enter the exam details, select the answer book and generate the challan. Pay it and retain the application number.

سرکاری پورٹل پر رول نمبر درج کریں، مضمون منتخب کرکے چالان جمع کروائیں اور درخواست نمبر محفوظ رکھیں۔

Rechecking Fee, Deadline and Application Status

The official fee list shows Rs 1,200 per answer book, subject to change. Confirm the challan amount and 2026 deadline on the application. Track progress through the rechecking service.

What Is Checked During Paper Rechecking?

Rechecking is not fresh evaluation. It checks unmarked answers, addition and transfer of marks. The total changes only when an error is found.

Eligibility for the Second Annual Examination

An unsuccessful candidate may reappear under SSC Part I rules and the schedule issued after the result. Do not use an SSC Part II schedule without checking eligibility.

Reappearing and Marks Improvement Rules

Reappearing clears failed or left over subjects. Improvement is a separate facility used under SSC passing rules. Apply within the permitted session; retained theory or practical marks depend on the subject status.

About BISE Sargodha Board

BISE Sargodha was established in 1968 under the West Pakistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Multan and Sargodha Ordinance. Rawalpindi Board was separated from it in 1978 and Faisalabad Board in 1988. Its present campus is near 49 Tail on Faisalabad Road, Sargodha.

Districts Covered by Sargodha Board

Its current jurisdiction consists of Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali and Bhakkar. Affiliated public and private institutions in these districts submit registrations and examination admissions through BISE Sargodha.

Why Mianwali, Bhakkar and Khushab Students Use BISE Sargodha

Punjab board jurisdiction follows the location and affiliation of the institution, not the nearest large city chosen by a student. Since these three districts fall within BISE Sargodha’s notified territory, their candidates use its roll number slips, result portal, gazette and post result services.

Official Website, Result Portal and Contact Details

The official website is BISE Sargodha. The board lists its address as Near 49 Tail, Faisalabad Road, Sargodha, telephone 048-3250041 to 42 and email [email protected]. Use the dedicated result and online forms services linked from the official domain.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Check My Result Without the Roll Number Slip?

Yes. Use the board’s name search when active or search the gazette by name. Match the father’s name and institution because names may be repeated.

Are Regular and Private Candidates Available on the Same Portal?

Both candidate types are included in board results, although the portal may provide separate filters or result card routes. Select the category shown on the admission record.

Is the SMS Result an Official Result Document?

No. It is a board delivered result summary, not a replacement for the DMC. Use it for quick confirmation and obtain the board issued result card for academic use.

Does the Result Card Show a Board or District Position?

An ordinary result card shows personal performance. A recognised board position is confirmed separately through the official merit list. A school rank is not automatically a board or district position.

Which Result Document Is Required for Class 10?

Regular students should follow their school’s instructions and retain the official SSC Part I DMC or verified digital result card issued by the board. A screenshot is useful temporarily but should not replace the formal record.
