BISE Larkana Jurisdiction
Larkana, Shikarpur and Jacobabad Districts
BISE Larkano initially covered Larkana, Shikarpur and Jacobabad. Affiliated schools in these districts submit SSC and HSC candidates through Larkana Board unless a later assignment applies.
Kamber Shahdadkot and Kashmore Kandhkot Districts
Kamber Shahdadkot was formed from Larkana and Kashmore Kandhkot from Jacobabad in 2005. Institutions in both new districts remained within BISE Larkano jurisdiction.
Mehar and Khairpur Nathan Shah Talukas of Dadu
The official history says Mehar and Khairpur Nathan Shah institutions moved from BISE Hyderabad in 2006. Not every Dadu institution belongs to Hyderabad Board.
Khairpur District and Khairpur Nathan Shah Are Not the Same Area
Khairpur District generally falls under BISE Sukkur. Khairpur Nathan Shah is a taluka of Dadu assigned to BISE Larkano. Competitor pages often confuse the two because both names contain Khairpur.

Does the 40% Passing Requirement Apply in 2026?
The revised IBCC policy begins with Grade 9 in 2026 and raises the threshold from 33% to 40%. The BISE Larkano notice and status printed on the candidate’s result remain the operational reference.
Theory, Practical and Incomplete Paper Conditions
A satisfactory total cannot replace an absent or uncleared component. Follow the BISE Larkano subject status rather than calculating a pass from the aggregate.
Percentage, Grade and Number of Papers Cleared
Percentage compares obtained and maximum marks. Grade applies a performance band, while papers cleared shows subject completion. Use the maximum printed for the candidate’s group instead of assuming one SSC-I total.
How Class 9 Marks Count Toward the Matric Result
SSC Part I marks form part of the matric record and combine with SSC Part II under the applicable scheme. Class 10 marks do not remove an uncleared Class 9 requirement.
