9th Class Position Holders 2026: Official Punjab Boards Merit List Tracker
The 9th class result 2026 position holder tracker will be updated from 1 September 2026 at 4:00 PM. The Punjab Boards SSC Part I result will be available on 2 September 2026 at 10:00 AM. Students can check the result through 9thclassresultcheckbyrollnumber.pk and their respective board website.
No topper name should be treated as official until the relevant board publishes a notice for SSC Part I or Class 9. A full Matric list, school post or high score found in a gazette is not automatically a Punjab Board 9th class merit list.

Are 9th Class Position Holders 2026 Announced?
The official names are awaited. When a board releases a separate SSC Part I merit list, the tracker will show the candidate's name, roll number, obtained and maximum marks, group, institution and official source.
Punjab boards commonly publish positions for the completed SSC examination. Separate Class 9 lists are not equally visible in every archive. The BISE Lahore position-holder archive, for example, categorises records as Matric and Intermediate. SSC Part I and final Matric positions are not the same award.
When Will 9th Class Position Holders 2026 Be Announced?
The confirmed update is scheduled for 1 September 2026 at 4:00 PM. Check each board's news, press-release or result area. If a document says only SSC First Annual, confirm whether it covers Part I or the completed SSC examination.
The individual Class 9 result will open at 10:00 AM on 2 September. The gazette will follow between 10:15 AM and 11:00 AM. A late gazette upload does not delay or change the merit list.

“Awaited” means official names have not been released. “No separate list found” will be used only after checking result-day notices. It means no standalone SSC Part I ranking could be verified, not that no student achieved the highest marks.

BISE Lahore 9th Class Position Holders 2026
Lahore Board's archive contains Matric positions. Class 9 names require a separate SSC Part I notice.
BISE Gujranwala 9th Class Position Holders 2026
The document title and examination part will be checked before any Gujranwala Board name is added.
BISE Faisalabad 9th Class Position Holders 2026
School toppers from Faisalabad Board districts will not be presented as board positions without an SSC Part I notice.
BISE Multan 9th Class Position Holders 2026
BISE Multan separates 9th and 10th results, but labels its public archive Position Holders Matric. Class 9 names require an SSC Part I source.
BISE Rawalpindi 9th Class Position Holders 2026
Rawalpindi Board names, marks and institutions will be added from its Class 9 merit notice.
BISE Sargodha 9th Class Position Holders 2026
Sargodha Board lists will be checked for 2026, First Annual and the correct SSC part.
BISE Sahiwal 9th Class Position Holders 2026
Sahiwal Board school and district ranks will remain separate from board positions.
BISE DG Khan 9th Class Position Holders 2026
High marks reported by a school require a BISE DG Khan merit notice to become a board position.
BISE Bahawalpur 9th Class Position Holders 2026
BISE Bahawalpur notices distinguish SSC position announcements from SSC Part I result-card notices, so the examination title will be verified.
How to Check the Official Toppers List | سرکاری پوزیشن ہولڈرز لسٹ کیسے چیک کریں
Open the official website of your Punjab board.
Go to News, Press Releases, Downloads, Results or Position Holders.
Look for 2026, SSC Part I, 9th Class and First Annual in the document title.
Open the PDF or notice and match the name, roll number, marks, group and institution.
Compare the information with this tracker. If the document says SSC Part II, Matric or Combined, it is not a 9th class list.

Official Merit List, Gazette or School Topper?
These sources answer different questions. Mixing them creates false topper claims.
| Source | What it proves | Can it confirm a board position? |
|---|---|---|
| Official SSC Part I merit notice | Board-approved Class 9 ranking | Yes |
| Board press release naming Class 9 toppers | Candidate and position announced by the board | Yes |
| Result gazette | Candidate results and board statistics | Not by itself |
| Individual online result | One candidate's marks and status | No |
| School topper post | Highest result reported by one institution | School level only |
| District ranking made by a school or academy | Local comparison | Only if the board confirms it |
| Matric or SSC Part II merit list | Final SSC position holders | No, it is the wrong examination part |
A gazette may reveal a high score, but the largest searchable number is not proof of first position. Records can be withheld, revised or missing from a scan. Only the board approves merit order.
How Punjab Boards Decide Position Holders
If a board issues a Class 9 merit list, the approved examination record and its notification control the ranking. Group, subject combination, maximum marks and eligibility conditions can differ.
Total Marks and the Score That Counts
There is no universal “position mark” such as 540 or 545. Merit depends on the highest approved total among eligible candidates under the applicable scheme. The maximum marks printed on the result record should be used because Science, Humanities and other combinations may not carry the same Part I maximum.
Practical marks also require care. Some SSC practical components are conducted or recorded with Part II. Do not add expected practical marks to a Class 9 total or compare candidates who were assessed under different schemes.
Science and Humanities Groups
A board may publish overall positions, group positions or both. Do not assume that three positions will be announced separately for Science and Humanities. The headings in the official 2026 merit list decide the category. “Arts” and “Humanities” are often used for the same broad stream, but the board's own wording should be retained.
Equal Marks and Shared Positions
Two students can obtain the same total. That does not allow a website to invent a tie-breaker based on age, subject marks or school type. Report a shared position only when the official list shows it. If the board uses another rule to order equal totals, follow the published merit order.
Regular and Private Candidates
Both regular and private students receive official SSC Part I results. Eligibility for a position, group award or institutional category must be taken from the relevant board notification. A private candidate should not be excluded or declared eligible on assumption alone.
Highest Marks in 9th Class 2026
The highest marks cannot be confirmed before official results and any approved SSC Part I merit list are released. A screenshot showing an exceptional score proves only that candidate's record unless the board also names the student as a position holder.
When updating the highest-marks table, record both obtained and maximum marks. A raw total without its denominator can mislead users. Percentage can be calculated as:
Obtained marks ÷ maximum marks × 100
Grade, GPA and position are separate concepts. A candidate can earn the highest grade without receiving a board position because many students may fall in the same grade band.
9th Class Position Holders 2021 to 2025
Punjab board archives preserve final Matric positions more clearly than separate SSC Part I lists. A 2021 to 2025 Matric topper should not be copied into a 9th class table.
For historical data, accept a record only when the source identifies the year, board, SSC Part I or Class 9, candidate, marks and position. If one of these fields is missing, mark the entry unverified. This approach is more accurate than displaying a complete-looking table built from school posts and recycled news pages.
Prizes, Cash Awards and Scholarships
A board position does not create one automatic cash award across all nine Punjab boards. Prize money, medals, laptops, scholarships, fee waivers and teacher awards require a separate notice from the board, Punjab government, scholarship provider, school or college.
Before publishing an award, verify:
the awarding organisation;
the eligible class and examination year;
whether the award is for SSC Part I or completed Matric;
position and group requirements;
domicile, income or admission conditions;
application deadline and payment method.
Do not rely on fixed figures copied from an older ceremony. A college may offer its own merit scholarship, but that is an admission offer, not an official board prize.
What If Your Name Is Missing?
First, check whether your board released a separate SSC Part I merit list. If it published only individual results, a missing name does not indicate an error. If an official list exists and your approved marks appear equal to or higher than a listed score, contact the board's Controller of Examinations through your school or as a private candidate.
Paper rechecking is meant to check issues such as unmarked answers, incorrect totals or marks transfer. It is not a request to award a position. If marks change, wait for the revised result and any board decision about the merit list.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will the 9th class position holders 2026 be announced?
The confirmed update time is 1 September 2026 at 4:00 PM. The SSC Part I result will follow on 2 September at 10:00 AM.
Will all nine Punjab boards publish separate Class 9 toppers?
Do not assume they will. Some official archives focus on completed Matric positions. Each board's 2026 notice must clearly identify SSC Part I or Class 9 before names are reported here.
How many marks are needed for a position in 9th class?
There is no fixed cutoff. It depends on the highest approved scores, group, maximum marks and the board's merit rules for 2026.
Does the gazette contain the position-holder list?
The gazette contains result records and statistics, but it is not automatically an official merit declaration. Use the separate board merit list or press release to confirm positions.
Is a school topper also a board position holder?
No. A school topper ranks within one institution. A board position covers all eligible candidates in the category across that board's jurisdiction.
Can two students share the same position?
Yes, if the official merit list records a shared position. Equal marks alone are not enough for a third-party website to declare a tie.
Can I submit my result for inclusion in the toppers list?
You can report a possible update, but a result screenshot or school certificate cannot replace an official board notice. The name should remain unverified until the board confirms it.
Where can I check my individual 9th class result?
Use 9thclassresultcheckbyrollnumber.pk or the official result portal of your Punjab board. Match the roll number, candidate name, examination session and subject-wise marks before saving the record.
Are cash prizes guaranteed for 9th class position holders?
No fixed award should be assumed. Check the latest board, government, scholarship-provider or institution notice for the amount and eligibility conditions.
